After the broken pipe is extracted can the fitting be re-used?
Yes, the fittings are ready to be immediately used again. No sanding is needed. The heating process is designed to heat the interior pipe but not the outside fitting. Therefore the fitting is ready to go once the old pipe is removed. Just re-prime, re-glue and insert the new pipe.
